Meet Holly!

Hi! I’m Holly, the owner and founder of Midwest Meals. I grew up on a farm in Birmingham and have been local to the Keosauqua area my entire life. I started cooking for my family when I was 12 years old to help my mother while she was working and my father was farming. I grew to love cooking and was asked to cater a local business Christmas party. From there, I started my own catering business, Catering Unlimited. But I didn’t stop there! Catering led me to own and operate a restaurant, First Street Grille. I was a restaurant owner for 15 years, and I’ve been in the food service industry for over 30 years. With the busy and changing times, it’s challenging to find time to sit with family and enjoy a meal, let alone make a meal! I am now starting my next journey with “Midwest Meals”- the convenient, homemade meal option that allows me to pursue my passion and set aside time for my family and friends!
